What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Other technologies have a similar effect, such as browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) or tracking pixels. In this policy we treat them all in the same way, as required by Article 22.2 LSSI-CE.

Essential first-party storage

konstruktgroup.com does not set first-party cookies for advertising purposes. As essential storage, it keeps just one first-party item in your browser:

konstrukt_consent (local storage): remembers whether you have accepted or rejected measurement and the advertising tools, so that we don’t ask you again on every visit. It is kept until you clear the site data or change your choice.

Our own measurement, only with your consent

konstrukt_analytics_sid (browser session storage): a random session identifier for our own usage measurement, such as pages viewed or clicks on phone and WhatsApp. It is only created if you press ‘Accept’ in the cookie notice, and it is deleted if you withdraw your consent. It cannot be used to identify you, is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising. It lasts for your browsing session.

Third-party cookies, only with your consent

Google Ads (gtag.js tag), provided by Google Ireland Limited: measures which Google ads lead to requests or contacts. With your consent, it may set cookies such as _gcl_au, which usually lasts up to 90 days. We use Google’s consent mode: until you accept, the tag does not store advertising cookies and can only send cookieless signals to count conversions in aggregate.

Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited: measures visits and requests coming from Meta ads. It only loads if you accept. It may set cookies such as _fbp, which usually lasts up to 90 days.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards described in our privacy policy. You can check how they use data in their own privacy policies.

How to accept, reject or change your choice

On your first visit we show you a notice with two options given equal prominence: accept or reject. Until you choose, and also if you reject, neither our own measurement nor any advertising tool that requires consent is switched on.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the ‘Cookie settings’ button at the foot of every page: the notice reappears straight away so you can choose again. If you clear the data for konstruktgroup.com in your browser settings instead, the notice will appear again on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s privacy settings. If you block local storage, the website will still work, but we will ask you again on every visit.
